Every pathway states what it is, not what it hopes to be.
ArkLegacy is in private preview. Connectors are fixture-tested and activation-gated; live provider activation happens with each family, with real credentials, during onboarding. Where a feed does not exist yet, the pathway that works today is named instead.

Cash and custody accounts through the read-only aggregation pathway, or statement import when a feed is not the right fit. Institution coverage is discovered at connect time, never assumed here.

Answers come from a fixed, truthful ruleset in your browser; the query is never sent anywhere. Where coverage is unknown, the honest answer is a scoping conversation, not a logo wall.
A fixture-tested connector exists in the private preview. Live activation happens with your family, with real credentials, during onboarding.
The statement or export imports today: parsed and previewed in your browser, owners assigned before anything lands, attached as evidence.
The asset lives as a structured record with a stated valuation basis and as-of date, freshness-tracked like every connected value.
We will not claim coverage we cannot prove. A person scopes the connection with you, and the record holds the position meanwhile.
No dead ends, by design
An asset without an API is still an asset. Anything ArkLegacy cannot connect directly still belongs in the record as a statement import or a structured manual entry, with its owner, valuation basis, and as-of date stated and its evidence freshness-tracked. The balance sheet stays whole; nothing falls off because a vendor lacks a feed.

A number is only as good as its provenance. Every value in the record travels the same lifecycle, and its stage is visible, so a stale appraisal can never quietly impersonate a verified one.

A pathway is established: a read-only feed, an import, or a structured manual entry. Nothing can trade, transfer, or move money.

Accounts and positions land with their institution, owner, and owning entity assigned before anything joins the record.

Values reconcile into the family balance sheet; totals trace to their sources instead of floating free.

ArkLegacy is read-only by design. It never trades, transfers money, takes custody, or stores wallet recovery phrases; credentials that could are refused. Access is controlled by the family.
The public demo goes one step further: no provider is ever contacted. Every connect flow runs against labeled synthetic fixtures, and the page says so wherever it happens.
